Mr. Hamilton is a graduate from the Simon Fraser Kinesiology Department’s Institute for Human Performance.   He was both a Lecturer and Lab Instructor from 1982-1990 in Simon Fraser University’s Kinesiology Department. 

From 1984 to 2002, Mr. Hamilton held positions with a National organization whereby he consulted with private and public corporations regarding Occupational claims, Non-Occupational claims as well as Ergonomics, Biomechanics, Workplace hardening programs, Physical Demands Analysis and Functional Abilities Evaluations all to assist injured and/or ill employees with safe and timely return to work programs.

Currently, Mr. Hamilton is the Vice President, Disability Management at Oncidium Health Group, where his responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of disability management including developing and implementing of Occupational and Non-Occupational programs.  He continues to consult with corporations across Canada regarding Occupational and non-Occupational programs and with the implementation of injury prevention and accommodation programs, employer education programs and absenteeism management programs.
